Healthy Church DNA® provides three assessment tools:
Online Healthy Church DNA® Congregational Strengths Survey (of the 15 church genes).
This tool provides a profile of the fifteen genes within the congregation. All members and staff are invited to complete this survey. The congregation receives a computer-generated summary of the results and extensive statistical analyses based on the demographics of the respondents. This survey is used to identify the strengths and gifts God has given the congregation. It is not used to find weaknesses and deficits to fix. In order to meet local needs, the survey an be made available in a paper version or a combination of both online and paper.
Online 360˚ Pastoral Strengths for Healthy Church DNA® Leadership Inventory.
This inventory provides a profile of clergy strengths and assets. A group of 25-30 lay leaders and staff members complete the inventory. The pastor receives a computer-generated summary of the results. The results are debriefed confidentially with the clergy person. On the basis of the results, a professional development plan may be developed and implemented. The Pastor may choose to work with a consultant for coaching, finding appropriate development resources, or support.
Online 360˚ Staff Team Strengths for Healthy Church DNA® Leadership Inventory.
This inventory provides staff members with a profile of their strengths and assets. Clergy and up to 100 congregational and staff members complete the inventory. The staff receives a computer-generated summary of the results and extensive statistical analyses based on the demographics of the respondents. The results are debriefed confidentially with staff team members. On the basis of the results, a team-based professional development plan may be developed and implemented.
